At Pīpīriki village, riders get back in the saddle and head south along the Whanganui River Road for the reasonably long ride through to Ūpokongaro on SH4. Traveling mainly along peaks and ridges rather than in the valleys, the trail offers many views along the way to its lofty high points. Whanganui River Road.
